The Royle Beds

Warranty Policy

At The Royle Beds Ltd, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is excluded and how to make a warranty claim if your product develops a fault.

1. Our Warranty Promise

The Royle Beds Ltd provides warranty protection on eligible products to give customers peace of mind and confidence in their purchase.

Every product is made with care and inspected before dispatch. If an eligible product develops a genuine manufacturing fault within its applicable warranty period, we will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with this policy and applicable UK consumer rights.

Our aim is simple: if something goes wrong because of a genuine manufacturing or structural fault, we will work with you to find a fair and practical solution.

2. What Our Warranty Covers

Subject to the applicable warranty period and product conditions, the warranty may cover genuine issues including:

Manufacturing Defects

Defects resulting from the manufacturing process or materials used in the product.

Structural Faults

Genuine structural problems affecting the frame, base or other structural components.

Frame & Base Issues

Eligible faults affecting the bed frame or base under normal household use.

Mechanical Faults

Mechanical issues affecting applicable products, including eligible moving mechanisms.

Stitching & Fabric Defects

Genuine manufacturing defects in stitching or fabric identified within a reasonable period.

Normal Household Use

Genuine faults that develop through normal and appropriate household use.

3. What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not normally cover damage or problems caused by circumstances outside normal manufacturing faults, including:

  • Misuse, rough handling or unreasonable use
  • Incorrect or incomplete assembly
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Stains, spills or accidental damage
  • Changes in fabric appearance caused by normal use or prolonged sunlight exposure
  • Damage caused by poor storage or exposure to excessive moisture
  • Products used for commercial, rental or non-residential purposes unless specifically agreed
  • Natural changes in mattress comfort or settling over time
  • Damage caused by failure to follow care, assembly or maintenance instructions

Each warranty case is assessed individually. If you are unsure whether an issue is covered, contact our support team and we will review the circumstances with you.

4. Warranty Length

Warranty periods vary depending on the product.

Eligible products may include:

  • Bed frames
  • Mattresses
  • Ottoman beds
  • Divan bases
  • Headboards

The exact warranty period applicable to your purchase is shown on the relevant product page or in your order confirmation.

Important: Please check the warranty information associated with your specific product before making a claim.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has developed a fault covered by the warranty, please contact our customer support team.

Contact Our Support Team

Email support@commerce.fortiscapitalgroup.co.uk with your warranty enquiry.

Provide Your Order Details

Include your order number and the name used when the order was placed.

Explain the Problem

Give us a clear description of the fault, including when you first noticed the issue.

Send Photographs or Videos

Provide clear photographs or videos showing the issue. This helps our team assess the claim more efficiently.

6. What Happens After a Claim

Once we receive your warranty claim, our team will review the information provided and may request additional details if required.

Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, the appropriate solution may include:

  • A replacement part
  • Repair of the product
  • A replacement product
  • A refund where appropriate

The solution will depend on the type of fault, the product involved, the condition of the item and the circumstances of the claim.

We always aim to provide the most practical and fair solution.

7. Warranty Inspections

In some cases, we may need additional information to determine whether an issue is the result of a manufacturing fault or damage occurring after delivery.

We may therefore request:

  • Additional photographs
  • Videos showing the issue
  • Additional product information
  • An inspection by a delivery partner or technician where appropriate

Customers should cooperate reasonably with any inspection required to assess a warranty claim.

8. Customer Responsibilities

To help us honour the warranty, customers are expected to:

  • Assemble the product correctly
  • Use the product appropriately
  • Follow all care and maintenance guidance
  • Avoid excessive weight or misuse
  • Report problems within a reasonable time
  • Keep proof of purchase

Failure to follow assembly, care or usage instructions may affect whether a particular issue is covered by the warranty.

9. Assembly & Installation

Products must be assembled according to the instructions provided with the product.

Incorrect assembly, missing fixings, forced components or modifications may cause damage and can affect warranty coverage.

If you are unsure about assembly, please contact us for assistance before using the product.

10. Upholstery, Fabric & Colour

Upholstered products may naturally show minor variations in texture, colour and appearance.

These variations can occur because of fabric batches, lighting, screen settings and normal use.

The warranty does not normally cover natural changes in fabric appearance caused by everyday use or prolonged exposure to sunlight.

11. Mattress Warranty

Mattress warranty coverage applies to eligible manufacturing defects and faults within the applicable warranty period.

Normal settling, changes in comfort over time and issues caused by incorrect use or care are not normally considered manufacturing defects.

Customers should follow the mattress care instructions supplied with their product.

12. Ottoman & Storage Mechanisms

Ottoman and storage beds contain moving components that should be operated carefully.

The lifting mechanism should not be forced, overloaded or modified.

Damage caused by misuse, excessive weight, forced movement or incorrect assembly may not be covered by the warranty.

13. Damage After Delivery

Damage caused after delivery, including accidental damage, misuse or improper handling, is not normally covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

If your product arrives damaged, please report it as soon as possible to support@commerce.fortiscapitalgroup.co.uk with clear photographs and your order number.

If an item appears damaged on delivery, please do not assemble or use it until our team has had an opportunity to assess the issue.

14. Proof of Purchase

We may require proof of purchase before processing a warranty claim.

Your order confirmation, order number or other valid purchase information may be used to verify your warranty eligibility.

15. Commercial & Non-Residential Use

Unless specifically agreed in writing, our standard warranty is intended for normal residential household use.

Products used in commercial premises, rental properties, accommodation businesses or other non-residential environments may be subject to different warranty terms.

16. Your Statutory Rights

This Warranty Policy does not remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection law.

Your legal rights remain unaffected where they provide protections beyond the terms of this commercial warranty.

17. Our Commitment to Fairness

We handle every warranty case with care, fairness and respect for the customer.

Our aim is to provide clear communication and a practical resolution wherever a genuine product issue occurs.

We will assess each claim based on the product, the fault, the applicable warranty period and the circumstances surrounding the issue.
